Simplicity is fun to drive. She is equally at home in urban traffic, interstate highways, or winding roads in the countryside. Small enough to fit into a parking space at the grocery store, but large enough to provide all the amenities that two people need for a camping trip. You might call it glamping, a form of camping with accommodations and amenities not associated with traditional tent camping. Most times, we have not focused on the creature comforts, but on the amazing opportunity to visit places where we connect with the beauty of the natural world.
Simplicity is the perfect vehicle for boondocking or drydocking. The three solar panels keep the dual batteries charged for normal needs such as electric lights, microwave, and refrigerator. without needing to be plugged into an electrical source. (However, you must have an electrical connection to run the A/C over the bed). You might even choose to stay at a Cracker Barrel, which offers free spots to RVers. Simplicity is economical too, generally averaging over 17 mpg.
