We were 100% satisfied with this rental! The Nova is in mint condition—it felt brand-new. Michael was absolutely amazing: very responsive to our messages over the weeks leading up to departure & very helpful in explaining to us (first-timers!) how everything worked. He also has a set of videos on YouTube that were clear & comprehensive. We would rent from Michael again without hesitation!!!
We traveled to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Traverse CIty SP, and Ludington SP. The Nova is easy to drive, handling more like a sedan than a truck. It was also quite stable when it was windy. The mileage was pretty good (~20 mpg), and adding fresh water & dumping the holding tanks was simple. The bathroom, kitchen, and sleeping areas are well-designed, and there is plenty of storage space. Michael provided everything we needed—and even added a teapot after I inquired about it!
Overall this was the perfect vehicle & owner for us first-timers! We highly recommend renting from Michael!
