About
I grew up in rural southern Illinois and attended the University of Illinois. After earning my degree in Aero/Astro Engineering, I was commissioned as an officer in the US Air Force. I served in the early 80's achieving the rank of Captain. During the decades since, my career transitioned into IT.

My wife is a wonderful woman who is a native of Ukraine. I am a father of four children (3 are adults already), and grandfather of three. My youngest child is almost 14 and aspires to be a ballerina. She is often featured in my nature landscapes. My wife and youngest daughter help with renting our RVs.

Several years ago I gained a passion for landscape photography. What better way to get close to nature (literally) than camping. In addition to RV camping, I go backcountry camping. Most recently hiking a 30+ mile loop in the Sierras and an overnight hike to Cracker Lake in Glacier National Park.

Our goal is to enable others to enjoy nature. To nurture an appreciation of the beauty to be found in our great country. Perhaps even foster a passion for landscape photography in others. When you stay in a national/state park campground, you maximize your exposure to nature. Rather than driving back and forth from the park to a hotel, you wake up each morning in the middle of a natural setting. When you rent one of our RVs, we do our best to make it an experience you will want to repeat often. And our trip advice is always free.
